Remains Stable at Temperature Extremes
X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease provides exceptional performance over a wide operating temperature range of -49°F to 392°F (up to 482°F in intermittent-use situations), making it an excellent grease for both hot and cold applications.
Maximum Equipment Life
AMSOIL X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease features excellent extreme-pressure capabilities that reduce friction and heat generation and help eliminate metal-to-metal contact. It promotes maximum equipment performance and life.
Resists Water Washout
X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease resists water washout, ensuring it stays in place when exposed to water during washing and rinsing. Its excellent washout resistance helps reduce greasing frequency, saving time spent performing maintenance. It also protects equipment from the harmful effects of water, including rust and corrosion.
AMSOIL X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease is compatible with lithium-complex, calcium 12 hydroxy and other aluminum-complex greases. It is not compatible with barium, bentonite clay, calcium, calcium complex, lithium, lithium 12 hydroxy, polyurea or sodium greases. If switching from an incompatible grease-type to AMSOIL X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease, complete purging is required.
AMSOIL X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease is designed for use in food service and pharmaceutical industry equipment such as preparation, processing and packaging machinery where there is a possibility of incidental contact.
Maintaining a clean work environment is important when equipment greasing is performed. Wipe grease fittings clean prior to injecting grease to prevent contaminant ingestion. Maintain bearing housings one-third to one-half full of grease. Prevent over-greasing as this can result in excessive heat buildup. Supplement standard grease maintenance by periodically cleaning and packing housings with fresh grease on an established maintenance schedule.
AMSOIL X-Treme Synthetic Food-Grade Grease is available in 14-oz. cartridges, 35-lb. lugs, 120-lb. kegs and 400-lb. drums.
